1. Our Commitment to Copyright Compliance

RoyalPDF.net is a PDF tool website. Users upload their own files to convert, merge, split, or combine. We do not host, store, or distribute copyrighted content intentionally. However, we take copyright infringement seriously and will respond promptly to valid DMCA notices.

Important: RoyalPDF.net processes user-uploaded files for temporary operations only. Files are automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing. If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed through our platform, please follow the process below.

2. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that content on RoyalPDF.net infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA Takedown Notice to our designated Copyright Agent.

Your Notice Must Include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work - Describe the work you claim has been infringed (e.g., "the image titled 'Sunset'", "the PDF document 'User Guide v2.0'").
  2. Identification of the infringing material - Provide the specific URL(s) where the alleged infringing content is located on RoyalPDF.net.
  3. Your contact information - Full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement of good faith belief - "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  5. A statement of accuracy - "The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
  6. Your electronic or physical signature - Type your full name at the bottom of the notice.

3. What Happens After We Receive a Notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content within 24-48 hours.
  • Notify the user who uploaded the content (if we have contact information) that the content has been removed.
  • Provide the user with information on how to file a counter-notice.
  • Terminate repeat infringers - Users who repeatedly violate copyright may have their access terminated.

Note: Since RoyalPDF.net does not require user accounts, our ability to identify repeat infringers is limited. We rely on email addresses and IP addresses for tracking where possible.

4. Filing a Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a DMCA Counter-Notice. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Identification of the removed material - The specific URL(s) of the content removed.
  2. A statement under penalty of perjury - "I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification."
  3. Your contact information - Name, address, telephone number, email address.
  4. Consent to jurisdiction - "I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which RoyalPDF.net may be found, and I will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice."
  5. Your electronic or physical signature - Type your full name.

Submit Your Counter-Notice To:

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward a copy to the original complainant. If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content.

5. Repeat Infringer Policy

RoyalPDF.net maintains a strict repeat infringer policy:

  • Users who receive two or more valid DMCA notices may have their access terminated.
  • We track repeat infringers using email addresses and IP addresses where available.
  • Since our service does not require user accounts, we reserve the right to block IP addresses of repeat infringers.

6. Misrepresentations and False Claims

Warning: Under 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing is liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees). False DMCA claims can have serious legal consequences.

Please ensure your DMCA notice is accurate and made in good faith. Submitting false claims may result in legal liability.

8. Limitations for PDF Tool Websites

Please understand that RoyalPDF.net operates as a file processing tool, not a content hosting platform:

  • Uploaded files are automatically deleted within 1 hour of processing.
  • We cannot retrieve files after they are deleted.
  • For time-sensitive takedown requests, please notify us as soon as possible.
  • We may not be able to take action on a DMCA notice if the file has already been auto-deleted.

If you believe a user is repeatedly uploading infringing content, please provide as much identifying information as possible (email address, IP address, timestamps) so we can investigate and block repeat infringers.

9. International Copyright Notices

While the DMCA is a United States law, RoyalPDF.net respects international copyright laws. Copyright owners outside the United States may submit notices using the same process, though legal remedies may vary by jurisdiction.
